Amanda & Nate were one of our most favorite couples! Their love story makes us smile every time we look at them. Their Salem wedding day was nothing short of magical and Amanda had everything to do with that. The ceremony and reception took place at The House Of Seven Gables in Salem Massachusetts. Amanda was very involved with the decorating and made almost everything herself or with the help of Family and friends. The house of Seven Gables was the perfect backdrop for their early June wedding. The light inside the actual building made for some killer bridal portraits and getting ready photos with Amanda. The grounds were perfect and the staff were very nice! Amanda had the most beautiful blush colored dress, she really looked like a princess.

Amanda's daughter Soleil played a huge part in the day and it was so awesome to watch her when Amanda and Nate said their vows. She was perfect in her tea length dress and her flower crown which Amanda also made herself. Their son Brody was so much fun to watch run around and enjoy in the happiness of their day!

After the ceremony we headed out front of The house of Seven Gables where Amanda's uncle had brought his vintage car and decorated it so they could do some cool shots with the car and the Just Married sign. The whole wedding party then headed down Derby street in Salem Massachusetts for some more fun photos.

Amanda and Nate picked the spot of The Friendship of Salem for some of their formal photos of the wedding party. We then headed back for the party! There was so much love from their friends and family that you could not help but be ecstatic for this perfect little family!

They will always be close to ours hearts for letting us share in this special day with all of them. Congrats to Amanda and Nate!! Oh and i mustn't  forget Soleil and Bohdi <3

Salem Willows Engagement | Lori + Tom

There are two things about summer in New England that I can't seem to get past no matter how long I live here.  Humidity.  And greenhead flies at the beach.  Mark Twain once said, "If you don't like the weather in New England now, just wait a few minutes."  This adage is exactly how I would describe the summer of 2016 here in Massachusetts.  Schizophrenic weather patterns have the days reaching 95+ degrees while the nights can bring those temperatures right back down into the low-mid 60's.  The next day will be a complete washout of thunderstorms and by the time you wake up the following morning we're back to mid-90's and sweltering with humidity.

Earlier this week we had a chance to hang out with Lori and Tom at Salem Willows for their engagement session.  With its ocean views, clam shacks, and old school arcades, this incredible historic site has some extremely beautiful scenery and is packed full of classic New England charm.  The temperature was reading 94 degrees but you wouldn't know it by looking at the photos.  Lori and Tom stayed cool and collected the entire time.  To keep as cool as possible we spent most of our time near the water where we were all able to dip our feet and enjoy the cool breeze coming off the ocean, but once the temps began to come down a bit we made our way to the top of the hill overlooking Beverly Bay and took in a breathtaking sunset before ultimately hitting the arcade and calling it a day.

Lori and Tom - we had such an amazing time with you and are so thankful that our paths have crossed!  Enjoy this sneak peek at one of our favorite sessions to date!
